Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and thank you for visiting our Website. 

Choosing to have your wedding dress custom-made is very exciting, but also a bit, time-consuming and, sometimes exhaustive process and one that you shouldn’t enter into lightly by any bride.

At YY we will take you through the whole process from choosing the right fabric for your dress, the design and make sure the dress is ready in time for your big day.


💍 YY Custom Wedding Dress – Terms and Conditions


1. Design Consultation

A non-refundable consultation fee may apply and will be deducted from the final balance if the client proceeds with the order.

The consultation includes discussion of ideas, sketches, fabric selection, and design confirmation.

Any major design changes after approval of the final sketch may incur additional charges and extend delivery time.


2. Measurements and Fittings

The designer will take the client’s body measurements or rely on measurements provided by the client (if remote).

The client must attend all scheduled fittings to ensure a proper fit.

Significant weight fluctuations or body changes after measurements are taken may affect fit and are not the designer’s responsibility.

Additional alterations due to such changes will be billed separately.


4. Pricing and Payment Terms

The total cost of the gown is [total price agreed].

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin work.

The balance must be paid as follows:

30 % at the first fitting,

20 % upon completion/before delivery.

Payments are accepted via cash/bank transfer/card.


Late payments may delay progress or delivery.


5. Timeline and Delivery

We will provide an estimated completion date before the wedding date.

The client will be notified in time of any unavoidable delays.

Early or rush orders may incur an express service fee.


6. Alterations and Adjustments

The price includes up to 3 standard fittings and minor alterations (hem, darts, seams).

Major redesigns, fabric changes, or additions (e.g., extra beading, longer train) are considered custom modifications and will be charged separately.


7. Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels after work has begun:The deposit is non-refundable.

The client remains responsible for the cost of materials purchased and labor completed to date.


The designer reserves the right to cancel the order if:

The client fails to make payments on time,

Becomes unresponsive for more than 7 days or

Engages in disrespectful or inappropriate behavior.

In such cases, any payments made will not be refunded.


8. Client Responsibilities

Attend fittings promptly and communicate clearly regarding preferences.

Approve all design sketches and fabric selections in writing before production begins.

Provide accurate wedding date and contact information.


9. YY  Responsibilities..

Use high-quality materials as agreed.

Ensure craftsmanship and fit align with the approved design.

Maintain professional standards and timely communication throughout the process.


10. Liability

The designer is not liable for:

Delays caused by late payments, missed fittings, or body measurement changes.

Damage or loss of the gown after pickup or delivery.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances preventing completion, the designer’s liability is limited to the refund of payments made, excluding the deposit.


11. Pick-Up and Delivery

The gown must be collected within 7 days of notification that it is ready.

If shipped, shipping costs and insurance are the client’s responsibility.

Once delivered or picked up, the designer is not responsible for damage, stains, or alterations made by third parties.


12. Photography and Marketing

With the client’s consent, the designer may use images of the gown (not including the client’s face without permission) for portfolio or marketing purposes.

The client may request not to have their images or gown featured publicly.


13. Confidentiality

All client information, measurements, and design details are treated as confidential.
